We want you to love everything you get from Simply Aquatic — whether it's a shrimp, a sponge filter, or something in between.
🛍️ Dry Goods (Non-Livestock)
If you’ve ordered the wrong item, changed your mind, or received something that’s not quite right:

You can return most unopened, unused items within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please contact us first so we can approve the return.

Return shipping is at your cost unless the error was ours.

Refunds are issued once we receive and inspect the returned item.
We’re hobbyists too, so we’ll always try to find a fair and reasonable solution.
🐠 Livestock
Due to the nature of live animals, we unfortunately don’t accept returns or refunds on livestock once they’ve been delivered — but we do offer limited protection through our DOA Guarantee:
If any livestock arrives dead:

Contact us within 1 hour of delivery with clear photos of the unopened bag.

We may offer a refund or replacement at our discretion, excluding shipping fees.
We cannot offer coverage if:

No one was available to receive the delivery.

The wrong address was provided.

The animals were removed from the shipping containers.
