Blue Bolt Caridina

The Blue Bolt Caridina is one of the most sought-after Taiwan Bee shrimp varieties, admired for its shimmering blue body and graceful presence in aquascaped tanks. These shrimp display a gradient of colour ranging from light icy blues to deeper, more solid hues.

While Extreme Blue Bolts are selectively bred for their intense, full-body saturation and uniformity (commanding a higher price), standard Blue Bolts often display more variation — with lighter coverage, patchier tones, or gradient fades. Both are beautiful in their own right, but the distinction lies in the quality of colour density and consistency.

Breeding:
