Green Water Culture (1L Starter Culture)

Green Water is a live starter culture of single-celled algae, perfect for seeding your own sustainable supply. It is widely regarded as one of the best first foods for fry and an excellent live feed for filter-feeding invertebrates such as daphnia, copepods, and shrimp larvae.

How to Maintain Your Green Water Culture:

• Keep in a clear container with gentle aeration to prevent settling.

• Place under consistent light (indirect sunlight or artificial aquarium/grow lights).

• Add a small amount of liquid fertiliser or nutrient source to keep the algae growing.

• Harvest by removing a portion of the culture and replacing with fresh dechlorinated water.

• Never harvest more than half at once to avoid crashing the culture.
