Metallic Red Wasp

The Red Wasp Caridina is a rare and eye-catching variety within the Galaxy lineage. Care & Behaviour
Like other Taiwan Bee shrimp, Red Wasps require soft, slightly acidic water and thrive in mature, stable aquariums. They are peaceful and best kept in species-only or dedicated Caridina tanks. Dense planting, mosses, and biofilm-rich surfaces provide excellent grazing opportunities and shelter for both adults and juveniles.

Diet

Breeding
Red Wasp Caridina can be bred in captivity but require pristine conditions and careful attention to water stability. Females typically carry eggs for about a month, and fry survival rates improve significantly in mature tanks rich in biofilm and microfauna.
